The first category to emerge as I've started setting my poems free turns out to be greenery — the wildflowers, trees, woods, canals, and meadows I roam daily, and whose names and folklore and curious facts I collect as eagerly as I collect sticks and scraps of bark. And with my poem-a-day habit still going strong, there's plenty more where these came from, both already written and pushing to be written.
All the Greenery poems are now available on Soundcloud: you can click the links to listen within each page or listen to the whole playlist here.
And if you're hankering for nature and can't get there, I also have a quiet blog, Creative Pause, of tiny videos of trees, leaves, and water.
All my poems on this site are now #FreeForPoets to play with, to write hybrid forms such as glosas, coupling poems, golden shovels, acrostics, centos, and erasures. Full permissions here: #FreeForPoets.
